Event Learning Objectives
- Demonstrate how to talk to a voice hearer about their experiences in a comprehensive way.
- Demonstrate a knowledge of different frames of reference about voice hearing in relation to historical evidence and epidemiological data and be able to discuss these.
- Utilize the Maastricht hearing voices interview for recording the experiences of voice hearers.
- Describe the difference between the roles of interviewer and interviewee, including the necessity of the interviewer to be an objective listener, suppressing therapeutic ambitions or comments.
- Demonstrate how to enable voice hearers to create normalizing relationships with their voices, in which the person feels interested, accepted, and respected.
- Identify strategies that can enhance the sense of control voices hearers have over their voices.
- Identify the possible relationships of voices with the individual life history and in the understanding of metaphors in what the voices say.
- Demonstrate the competence of teaching the main elements of recovery from distress with voices.
- Critique ones own attitude towards hearing voices and assess how this has developed over the course of the training.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Refunds are available up to 7 days before the event. If requested within this time frame, a refund will be given for the price paid for the event minus credit card transaction fees incurred by ISPS-US. Ticket transfers are allowed until the event starts. Please email contact@isps-us.org for assistance. In case of event cancellation, a full refund will be issued to all ticket holders. All sales are otherwise final.

2. We recommend clicking your "Join Webinar" button early and checking that your speakers are on before the event begins. Please do not worry about being seen or heard! Attendee video feeds and mics are turned off by default when entering a webinar. You will be able to ask questions via the Q&A feature.
3. Please respect that no copying, recording, or distribution of live session content is allowed. CE's are provided for the "live" sessions only. CE's will not be available for the recordings.
